Michael Wise, ARTSNCT, to direct school spring musical
One goal of the newly formed ARTSNCT was to join forces with the Newcomerstown school system on several projects that would promote the education of the arts and provide larger opportunities for students to develop and showcase their talents. That goal will be reached in January when ARTSNCT raises the curtain, so to speak, on its organization.
Michael Wise, Executive Director of ARTSNCT INC., has agreed to direct the school spring musical that will be open to all high school and middle school students. Michael plans to use ARTSNCT and his contacts to get the community involved and make the production a huge success with many more to follow. He is looking for adults to assist in many areas, such as set construction, costumes, lights, and sound. Auditions will be scheduled during the second week of December. The show will begin rehearsals January 11 and the performance dates are tentatively set for March 10-12, 2016. The title of the musical will be announced after the auditions in December.
Michael and ARTSNCT are proud to work with Newcomerstown schools on this project and are proud to jointly produce the production for our youth and our community.
